Great Stay

Affordable with large, comfortable units. Wonderful Hosts who made our stay ever so pleasant. They also accommodated our very busy twins in every possible way. Would definitely recommend Ambleside to all!

Ambleside Country House
Ambleside is a 4-Star luxury guest house with 14 luxury and standard rooms for 30 persons, situated in countryside famous for Hops and Strawberries, only a short drive to George centre and George Airport.

Extensive gardens, heated swimming pool, putting green, and a high standard of service, quiet and privacy make Ambleside your perfect choice.

The Links Golf Course, a world-class course in Fancourt and venue for the 2003 Presidents Cup is open to the public - also in Fancourt. The guest house offers the highest standards of hospitality and service including business services, fax, internet, copying and secretarial services. Laundry, travel and car hire arrangements can be made. Secure lock-up parking is available on request.
The guest house is private, secluded and very peaceful. Management is by the owners themselves, always on hand to give advice and assistance.
