A lot of attention for detail

Very friendly owners, especially the children felt at home right away. They loved the animals and 'oma'. The rooms were comfortable and we could see that a lot of attention was spent on the details. Great breakfasts!


Akanan Guest House
Akanan is an exclusive establishment situated halfway between Durban and Umhlanga Rocks on the North Coast with the magnificent sea view of the Indian Ocean. The house consists of three tastefully decorated en-suite rooms fitted with multi-channel TV, radio, clock alarms, fans, hair-dryers and a coffee and tea facilities.

You will also find an entertainment area with a pool table, lovely lounge, a dining room and a lapa with a swimming pool. With our ambience and efficient service, we strive to meet all our guests expectations. The place where you walk amongst the stars and where every guest is a celebrity.
