Great place!

Myself, my wife and two children spent three fantastic nights at this outstanding spot. Great views, well located, excellent accommodation.
Amazing place, so much space
Ryan Fellstad, United Kingdom - 04 November 2011
We stayed in the main section of Breaside House and besides the great location, fantastic views and friendly owner, the house is unbelievable. There is so much space in the place it feels like you own your own mansion for a few days. It has two en-suite rooms and such high ceilings, and even a massage chair and coffee machine! I can't recommend it enough!

Braeside House
The recently fully renovated apartments, located in a Victorian house in Green Point Village, can sleep up to four guests each or they can be combined to accommodate parties of up to eight guests.

At the front there are panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island, Green Point Common and the Cape Town Stadium. At the back there is a private balcony/courtyard looking up towards Signal Hill.

The Loft Apartment is open plan but with distinct living, dining and kitchen areas. The whole apartment has Oregon pine ceilings and new pine flooring. The double bedroom with ocean views can be configured with either twin beds or a king-size bed. A drop-down queen-size bed is found in the living area. There is a walk-in closet off the main living area, behind the drop-down bed. The bathroom has a separate bath, a shower area and under-floor heating.

There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen area with breakfast counter and a small dishwasher; a dining area with seating for six; a partly shaded balcony with dining for four; air-conditioning with both cooling and heating; and a concealed washing-drying machine.

The Main Apartment is open plan, but with distinct living and dining areas and a separate kitchen. The apartment has four-metre high wooden ceilings and pine flooring, two twin bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower, twin hand basins and a heated towel rail or under-floor heating.

The living area and the master bedroom have big antique-style ceiling fans which provide ample cooling during hot weather. The master bedroom also has a working Victorian fireplace. The dining table comfortably seats ten. The large fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast table that seats four. There is a separate scullery with a dishwasher plus a washing and drying machines. The secure courtyard has a dining area that seats six.

Both apartments feature flat-screen TVs with subscription satellite channels, free wireless broadband, fully automatic coffee machines, and twice weekly cleaning service; the proprietor and the housekeeper live on the premises. They have well-lit off-street parking, separate entrances just off the main front door giving added security and personal safes.

The property has a security alarm system. There is a minimum stay of three nights. The open staircase makes the Loft Apartment unsuitable for young children. No age restriction for the Main Apartment.
