Shocking experience
Murna van der Merwe - Tuesday, 04 August 2020
I have NEVER A been to an establishment where the proprietors tell you that their dogs might jump on you, because they are not kept separate from the guests. The whole reception experience was SHOCKING to say the least. I also did not have water to shower or wash my hands.
Unfortunately not for me again
Maritza Hulley - Sunday, 16 February 2020
They did not allow me discount i received online i had to pay full price. There was dog running around everywhere and the pool area and pool it self was not up to standard i booked for 2 adults and 2 Children and there was not enough beds to sleep on. The Gas water heater was not working cold shower and no door on the bathroom in the little room.
Regroup your emotions

I loved the entire setting, from watching the finches building nests, dogs coming to say hello, the absolute peacefull serene and content feeling I experienced. The guest house owners and staff are extremely warm and wellcoming, breakfast just the right size and right taste for anyone's taste buds. I love this little place, will be back soon.
The best service

We selected this place for my PhD graduation evening (many family members) as 3 Palms Cape B & B is very close to the University and located in a quiet area. Everything about the 3 Palms Cape B & B is wonderful. ALL of the staff are friendly and very helpful, from the front desk to the kitchen staff, especially the owners. The rooms are updated - we loved the décor and the relaxation space outside - and the location, especially the price, is unbeatable as the place is very clean and very safe. The swimming pool was made safe for the family’s children, so we did not have any worries. There were tea and coffee facilities in the rooms which made the evening quite special when we returned from the ceremony very late at night. We were served the most scrumptious breakfast (everyone’s choice was served) the next morning, after Mara gave my mother several plants from her garden to be replanted in the Richtersveld. Most importantly, we were served in the language of our choice. We departed knowing we made new friends. This is a no brainer: stay here, absolutely!
Vriendelike verblyf.

Ontvangs en kommunikasie vriendelik. Het DSTV in kamers gemis. Stortondervinding met nat vloere was lastig! Gebrek aan 100% sekuriteit by motors het gepla. Het my verblyf tog geniet dankie!
Lovely

What a lovely caring family run this B & B. My daughter and i were so impressed with our room, the lounge and the outdoor facilities. Breakfast was a feast and the staff polite and helpful. My only negative comment would be that dinner (though excellent) was a bit costly. Well done to you all, we will be back!
Pleasant

Would have liked shower in our room. TV stuck on channel 3. Could do with a bit brighter lights. Bed was good. Breakfast was good. Hospitality was good. Hope they get their automatic gates sorted.
Hospitality
Mary Nombulelo Ntabeni, Lesotho - Monday, 27 August 2012
I could tell from the email exchanges that the owners were very hospitable, especially Ernst who, unfortunately was away. When we finally met them face-to-face, they interacted with us graciously and fulfilled all our agreed arrangements with a smile, even when we were on the verge of being impossible or demanding. I will recommend it to my friends and I would go back just to meet Ernst.
Good value

Shuttle from airport appreciated after long flights from USA. 3 Palms in quiet neighborhood area. Room size was generous. Bed/pillows very comfortable and clean. Bath towels missing but corrected immediately. Breakfasts were excellent. Good suggestions on touring Cape Town. Located about 10 mins from airport & 30 mins from V & A Wharf. Good value for price.

Our hosts could not have been more helpful, including accommodating our early departure. Room comfortable and friendly pets.
Home from home

We received an excellent reception with a welcome drink by the pool in a secluded garden. The hospitable hosts/owners made us very welcome and we joined them and three other guests for a home-cooked evening meal (a Malay curry special!) - a real memorable experience. First class facilities for a B&B and located near airport. Real value for money in a friendly and clean environment.
