Bliss in Barrydale!

We had such a peaceful stay at Little Samadhi. Not even the rainy weather could not spoil our stay. It is a such a cozy place, and Atma's beautiful sense of decor, style and quiet hospitality had us relaxing from the first minute we walked in the door. The yoga classes, walks and delicious meals exceeded our expectations.. We will definitely be back!

I could not have asked for a better place to end my 3 week solo journey into the Karoo. The beautiful spacious room with Victorian bath next to the window,luxurious products and white linen, private veranda overlooking the picturesque town of Barrydale, healthy, scrumptious breakfasts, yoga classes and massage, all contributed to a very special experience. Atma is such an inspiration - her lifestyle, wisdom and peaceful energy. I felt truly blessed to have had the opportunity to stay for 3 nights.

Set on the hillside (within easy walking distance) above the idealic postcard-picture-perfect village of Barrydale, The Little Samadhi (with all credit going to its loving owner Atma) was a stay of pure relaxation and peace. We felt spoiled; comfortable & cozy sleeps, fantastic wholesome food, beautiful sunny garden, scenic surroundings, intimate fire place for cool nights, and engaging enjoyable conversations with our gracious host, Atma. This is THE place to stay along route 62!
It was wonderful.

Atma is warm and welcoming. The house is beautiful and an interesting introduction to the architecture of the area. The garden too shows typical plants of the region. Very comfortable and affordable.

Little Samadhi is a small, beautifully situated yoga retreat and B&B located on a hilltop overlooking the village of Barrydale in the Little Karoo.
Little Samadhi offers you luxurious, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. You will receive personal attention in a caring environment firmly rooted in yogic principals. Your well-being is the key word. Whether you merely wish to overnight and do a little yoga, participate in a workshop, or have a 'tailor made' retreat, we are here to facilitate your rejuvenation, recuperation and rest. During your stay we will serve you delicious, healthy, wholesome and, wherever possible, organic vegetarian meals. Little Samadhi is a smoke-free zone and we do not serve alcohol. We do not have television or DSTV, although Internet access is available and mobile phone reception is good.
Little Samadhi offers you: Regular yoga classes with a highly experienced teacher as well as remedial and Kundalini Yoga and meditation. Yoga Getaways for teachers and their students is a fully-equipped studio holding 15 comfortably. Catering is offered.
