We had a wonderful time. This is a truly magical place to relax and get away from it all. Even my kids really enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend Boshuisie to anyone looking for a getaway. No doubt in my mind that we will go again, and again! Thank you!

Come and relax in our secluded cabin, enjoy the silence, look for the fairies, swim in the farm dam, take a hike in the mountains, do some bird watching, watch the stars and full moon through the trees at night and explore the surroundings. Just the right recipe for recovering from a hectic life.

We offer a self-catering cabin (3m X 6m) with four beds (2 pairs of stacked single bunks) and cooking nook stocked with utensils and crockery. Separate ablution facilities with hot water (2 x flush toilets, shower, hand basin, sink). No electricity, but gas lights, gas stove, gas hot water geyser. Cleaning agents. Barbecue and grid. Wood for sale. It is preferable to have a high ground clearance vehicle (not necessarily 4 x 4).

Bring with you: food (one gets hungry in the woods) bedding, towels, bathing costumes, hiking shoes, warm clothes in case of bad weather, mountain bike, and a book to read. We have limited cell phone reception. The cabin is nestled in the Langeberg mountains 10 km outside Robertson (nearest shops) and approx. 180 km north-east of Cape Town. A map and directions will be provided when you book. Rental vehicles are available at Cape Town International airport. We’re looking forward to meeting you.
