Stay at Nelwands House

Wow! Newlands House is absolutely lovely. The house is private and very comfortable. It is so tastefully decorated and well maintained. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to stay in the Newlands area. Ewa is a great host and I appreciate her hospitality. I will be visiting Newlands House again.

We had a great 2 weeks at Newlands House and will definitely recommend it to friends. The house is immaculate, beautifully furnished and very well-equipped, and Ewa is wonderful hostess!


Newlands House
Newlands House is a beautiful, bright and spacious garden apartment that can accommodate up to four people. Nestled at the foot of Table Mountain in the heart of historic leafy Upper Newlands, this accommodation option is superbly located for easy access to all of the popular Cape Town destinations.

The entrance hall area contains a beautiful rustic antique Chinese sideboard and antique chairs. The entrance area leads into a large bright and breezy lounge which overlooks a lush section of the garden. The lounge contains three and two-seater couches, a large TV with a DStv satellite system and a large glass and steel coffee table. There is a large open-plan dining room with floating shelves containing many artistic objects of interest. The dining room opens into the modern kitchen area which is very well equipped for up to 12 people.

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Fitted cupboards with sliding Japanese-style doors reveal hanging spaces with drawers beneath in both bedrooms. We change the linen weekly and we provide all bath and beach towels. The modern bathrooms have superb showering facilities and the walk-in shower room has a toilet and basin. The main en-suite bathroom includes a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

The apartment is fully alarmed and connected to an armed response unit. There is secure parking behind gates for two cars in your own private driveway. We service the house weekly which is included in your rental.
