I was offered accommodation nearby but it did not suit my needs. I asked for a refund and did not get the full amount I had paid although I did not cancel on my own account. The owner refused to pay me back the full amount and said it was commission that Safari had already charged

I have to say that I enjoyed my stay at Josco Smiths Cottage, however I wasnt happy with the fact that house keeping wasnt available for the weekend up until the following Monday and this wasnt communicated to us

The cottage was neat and clean. The staff was very friendly, especially Richard, he was very helpful and assisted us promptly. I'm definitely going back. Ohhh, how can I forget the owner, he let us check in before the actual time. Thank you guys, you really made our stay pleasant.

The cottage was centrally located, a walking distance from new restaurants that have been build. Its a lovely cozy cottage. Spotlessly clean. Staff and owners quite friendly. Our stay was not long, but we would like to go back again.

The kids had a good experience and enjoyed the surrounding.

My family and I recently spent a few nights at Josco Smith Cottage. This not- so- little cottage is a hidden gem. We were so glad to have found a clean, comfy and safe spot central to all our needs. The friendly host was very accommodating with our last minute booking changes and visitors cars coming and going. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone needing a place to stay in the Durban North area.

It is very seldom that one gets to their accommodation and it looks just as picturesque as the photographs you see on a website. Josco Smith Cottage is a prime example of this, just too beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and were greeted with such warmth. Lovely cottage that was well equipped with all the modern amenities that one would need, was like a home away from home. My 2 kids had ample space to play in the beautiful garden and our host was very friendly with them. The cottage was clean, neat and tidy and spacious. We had a great time and will definitely make use of this accommodation when we visit Durban again. I would also highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homely experience that is value for money.

We had a good time. It was a relaxed weekend, its a nice quiet area. Owners were friendly and i would go back there anytime.

We had a great long weekend away. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage and it had everything we needed and comfortable beds. We will be back.

Everything was alright with the stay at Josco Smith Cottage. I would revisit the place.

The cottage was neat and spacious and it was nice to get clean towels every day.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and the price was fair. The owner's son went out of his way to make sure things like the DSTV remote were working. It probably isn't ideal for people with a toddler because of the steps and drop off on the side of the patio. It was nice to have a cottage with 2 bedrooms and not feel cramped. Also, it had everything one needed for a comfortable stay.

Peaceful and serene, however not baby fiendly with the space being a problem especially with an active 16mnth old.

The house itself was very comfortable and well equipped. The service, towels, cleaning etc.was excellent. And the large swimming pool was lovely. Good neighbourhood and shops within reach.

I chose Josco Smith Cottage because of their professionalism and friendliness in our correspondence. For once, it was a great decision. The hosts, Walter and his wife, were very accommodating and kind. The establishment is neat, spacious and very relaxing. The area is well secured and very peaceful and safe. We took a stroll from a restaurant nearby and felt very safe. We were without transport, as we were going on a cruise ship, but for a small extra fee, Walter picked us up at the airport, took us to the ship and then picked us up when we came back again. I would most definitely stay here again. Shopping malls are close by and so are restaurants. Not to mention the beach, stadium and other tourist attractions. A definite perfect holiday spot. Love it!

Our experience staying at Josco Smith Cottage can only be described as: Our home away from Home!

We received great service everyday during our stay. The cottage was cleaned daily, and we received clean towels daily. Walter and his crew were always ready to assist when we needed directions and when we required any extras.

Josco Smith Cottage is central to shopping malls, beaches and even a bank which makes it convenient for any family on holiday. It made our stay worthwhile due to the fact that it was our first time in Durban and we have no sense of direction in this area.

It was truly our home away from home!!
