Place not clean. Curtains, bedding and towels pathetic, must be replaced. Cleaners does not clean the chalets properly, dusty allover, floors also dirty.

Wow, the place and the atmosphere every one would love to be! Thank you Mr Geoff for having us and for the treatment you gave us, the love and patience you have! God bless you and hoping to come back soon!

Firstly, there was no one to greet us when we arrived, despite me sending an email to the owners to inform them of our arrival time. When someone did arrive, they didn't introduce themselves. The chalet itself has a very homely feel, for a self-catering chalet. The next morning we got up early as we were hot air ballooning, only to find that no-one had informed us to put the geyser on. So we had to take a cold shower at 4am in the morning. Check out time is 10am in the morning, but its stated in the pamphlet in the chalet that they are easy with the check out times. So as we having breakfast, the cleaner brings us our invoice and informs us that we should leave early as they expecting more guests that afternoon. No one had informed us about this when we arrived. So we had to finish our breakfast and be out of the chalet in about 20 minutes. The accommodation itself is fine, with close proximity to the sites of interest. But the service was really pathetic and below par. The lady that helped us settle our bill didn't even ask how our stay was. I would not recommend this establishment to any of my friends or family.

I will still use Pine Valley in the future. I will recommend it to my friends. It is quiet and peaceful. Thank you so much.

Het heerlik gebly en sal weer daar bly. Baie rustige en mooi omgewing. Het veral van die bokke en honde gehou. Dit het gevoel of ek by my eie huis was. Had an enjoyable stay and will stay here again. Very peaceful and beautiful environment. Especially liked the goats and the dogs. It felt like i was in my own house.

The venue itself has a very quaint and welcoming feel to it. The rooms are cosy, yet spacious. The addition of a fireplace is always a bonus. The surrounding attractions add to the feeling of escape from the bustling city life. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again!

Most enjoyable. Peaceful and restful. The accommodation was excellent. The host, Geoff, was always on hand to ensure we were well looked after. Recommended to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Over night stay. Arrived approx. 12 noon. Very warm greeting from Jeff. Unit, linen all clean. No problems at all.

Really enjoyed my stay, will be going back. The rooms where nice and big, the fireplace was just perfect.

Good value for money. On the "rustic" side - which is just what we like. Good place to chill, very friendly and easy to find.

On arrival I was very pleased to see that it was the same place we had stayed at 7 years ago for another family wedding (but couldn't for the life of me remember the name) so it was "home from home". When we were leaving my husband discovered that he had misplaced his late fathers signet ring. The family searched the place and then decided it must be in a waistcoat pocket that had been returned - On arrival at our next destination (1 1/2 hrs away) we were informed that the ring was not there ! I suggested to my husband that he phone Geoff and to see if they could try and find it - shortly Geoff phoned to advise it had been found - what a relief - I do not know of many places that go to the trouble Geoff and his staff did - Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pine Valley. Geoff was very friendly and the kids loved having all the dogs around, it made it for them. The cottage was very clean and spacious and the setting was perfect for what we required and close to the wedding venue.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and the cottage neat and comfortable! Excellent braai area! Small things like the broken toilet seat and clogged shower head need to be attended to though. Highly recommended as affordable overnight accommodation for one of the weddings nearby.

The experience was just what we needed. Quiet and relaxing. Away from the busyness of the city life. The facilities were clean, neat and very comfortable. Not to mention fully equipped with all the necessities. The surrounding areas of interest, are only a short distance away e.g. Cradle of Humankind. Nothing is to much trouble for Geoff. Thank you so very much. We so enjoyed our stay and shall be back to visit.

Great for animal lovers Chalets were very clean and well stocked Only problem was that there was not enough hot water

We had nice stay and everything was okay, I liked the rooms and the kitchen was fully equipped. We enjoyed and it was private and quite for romance.
