Not all that is promised on web site

Our original 8 sleeper did not nearly resemble the accommodation advertised. There was no furniture only beds, plastic table and chairs on stoep. On complaining management did sort out the problem, luckily we were out of season and could be moved to their "Time Share units"

The province of Inhambane, the land of good people, is where you'll find Guinjata Resort. The resort, pioneer to one of the world's top 10 dive sites, Manta Reef, was discovered in 1995. With crystal clear waters, flourishing coral reefs and a host of world-class facilities, this is one of the Indian Ocean coastline's best-kept secrets.

Guinjata Resort is located approximately 550 km north of Maputo and 25 km south of Inhambane. The road leading to the resort is a dirt road, only accessible with a 2x4 with diff-lock or a 4x4 vehicle. Transfers from Inhambane can be arranged for people with sedan or other vehicles, if required.

At Guinjata Bay Resort, our philosophy is that leisure time activities are an important component of any resort, and we offer a diverse assortment of activities catering for all types. A wide range of accommodation is available, from simple yet comfortable two- to eight-bedroom self-contained chalets, which are fully serviced daily, to sheltered camping in baracas. Catered, fly-in and self-drive options and conference facilities are available and guided self-drive safaris can also be arranged.

The beach restaurant, with a take-away menu, operates during school holidays, while for sports enthusiasts, the sports bar offers satellite TV for sporting events. In addition, a quick shop with essential items and curios is situated close to the premises.
