The nicest quiet little place just a stone throw from city life run by the most amazing two people and their staff. Everything and everyone here deserves commendation. The most deserved rest for our souls like we haven’t had in a long time. Thank you for allowing us in your space.

Clean but small self-catering "apartment" attached to the main house, with a lovely view. Limited DStv. The property is secure and I had my own garage. The owners kindly prepared an evening meal which I ate in my apartment and was adequate for my purposes. Read directions carefully, if you enter the "service entrance" to Monaghan Farm you ARE on the right track!

We browsed the net to find accommodation near Lanseria Airport as we were leaving early in the morning and came across Hills and Dales, which looked appealing. On arrival the reception was friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms were neat, functional, well appointed and the beds afforded a good nights sleep. The setting with the view over the Jukskei River and was both refreshing and relaxing and provided a great backdrop for braai-ing some meat on the Weber and enjoying sundowners on the veranda. The thing that really impressed us was the attention to detail and going the extra mile, and for the following we gave the 4 Star grading: 1. The variety and assortment of inventory regarding crockery and cutlery which made it possible for us to cater for our friends without having to raid their kitchennette for glasses, plates etc. 2. Paraffin lamps (with paraffin), candles and matches were supplied in the event of a power failure. 3. Whilst still settling into our rooms a large bucket of ice arrived without it having been asked for, which was extremety thoughtful. 4. On return from his days work, Tim came and greeted us in a very friendly manner and enquired if there was anything else that we needed. He also kindly agreed to take us to the airport at 06h00 in my friends car, keep the car in safe custody, and then come and collect us again six days later which was very convenient and much appreciated. Our friends, who spend one week a month at their seaside home in Struisbaai, were so impressed, I have no doubt they will visit Hills and Dales frequently in the future. My wife and I do not fly as frequently but will certainly arrange our future flights to depart from Lanseria for the opportunity to return to Hills and Dales.

Room was nice and clean. Good value and a nice breakfast!

Comfortable for family and loved the closeness to the airport - ideal for an early morning departure.

We had a lovely stay at Hills and Dales. Di and Tim made us feel extremely welcome, the accommodation is located in a beautiful area and also very close to Lanseria Airport. The meals were also outstanding. I recommend Hills and Dales to any person.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hills & Dales. The welcome was warm and friendly and I felt right at home from the start. I enjoy self catering units and this facility fulfilled my needs to such an extend that I will definitely return.

We had the most fabulous stay, the view, airplanes landing and taking of, wild life sounds, bush and river is just amazing, thank you Dianne for all your trouble to make everything just perfect for a gr8 time away from all the city rush, it was just the perfect spot for a quick break away!!!
