06 February 2009 My parents-in-law stayed at the Stilbay River Lodge on 31 January 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They were amazed and delighted at the Honesty Bar and the fact that everything was so laid back and peaceful. They felt at home and said they would visit the River Lodge again anytime.

25 June 2007 Anette was absolutely wonderful, patient and very accommodating, resulting in a wonderful stay at the Lodge. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough. Also used their canoe and took an hour ride up the river which was beautiful. If you are into pets, there is a lovely sheepdog which will play fetch for as long as you can and then some. Cats, dogs, & horses (none of which are a nuisance.)

20 November 2006 Our experience staying at Stillbay River Lodge was exactly what we wanted - rustic and peaceful surroundings with attentive but unobtrusive hosts. The birthday gift was totally unexpected and a wonderful gesture. Craig and Annette have got it exactly right!
