The Leaping Lizard B&B
This bed and breakfast is situated ten minutes’ drive from the Union Buildings, five minutes’ drive from the South African president’s Pretoria residence and two minutes’ walk from the new Foreign Affairs offices currently being built in Rietondale, Pretoria.

All the rooms have been decorated with designer furniture. All rooms sport fans, hairdryers, heaters and DStv. Coffee and tea facilities, as well as fresh fruit and rusks, are provided in each room. Guests are welcome to spend time at the lapa next to the solar heated pool where we would gladly serve breakfast, a scrumptious meal by candlelight or a barbecue. A substantial English or Continental breakfast is served. Internet facilities are available at a nominal fee.

There are two upmarket double rooms and one single room available inside the house. The double rooms are spacious with queen-size beds, each with its own bathroom and bath, one also has a shower and separate toilet.

The Bali Breeze Room has a generously sized queen bed, excellent lighting for reading, original paintings, a full-size mirror, a DVD player and space to place your suitcase. The Gone Fishing Room is a rustically designed single room with a large bathroom, shower as well as a bath, a dressing table, as well as seating. It has its own private patio where one can sip a cocktail after a hectic day.

The Gone with the Wind Honeymoon Room provides complete privacy for a honeymoon couple, the discerning businessman or diplomat. It has a queen-size bed decorated with all-white silky soft furnishings. It has a TV and DVD player available. Its bathroom is the size of a bedroom and the actual bath is big enough for two or three people. Your host, Elizabeth, specializes in sports massages and would love to pamper you after a hard day’s work, after which you can enjoy a petal-filled, fragrant bath while Balinese music enhances the feeling of decadent bliss.
