Need some renovations.

Although we only spent a night at Grateful, it was really nice and the reception was very friendly. I would recommend the guest house to anyone for any time. The rooms are also very neat. Thanks John.

The room was warm, as was the person who welcomed us. John, you were such a great host!

It was raining the day of our arrival. The manager did every thing in his power to assist us. It is a neat and clean establishment and we had a good rest.

I loved the experience, those guys are still human....all my friends know by now.

It was really good to stay at this venue. It was quiet and very restful - just what I needed after a long journey.

Both times were very good. John communicated with us regularly as to our movements and always answered our queries. The directions were precise and easy to follow. The accommodation itself is lovely, very spacious and pleasantly decorated. Everything was clean and neat and a pleasure to use. We enjoyed our stay, thank you very much John and Melody. We'll definitely use again on our trips.

The four of us had a very pleasant experience, John and Melody thanks for your hospitality and the wood and bowl for popcorn.

We enjoyed the stay as it was very restful. Although the accommodation is very old we still enjoyed it. What we did not like was the fact that the cold water tap did not work in the shower!

We were looking for a place to sleepover on our way from East London to Pretoria. We only arrived at Grateful Christian Guesthouse at around 11:30pm. They were still awake and showed as the way to the unit. Being tired after a long drive we forgot to get coffee on the way. Luckily they had everything. I would definitely make use of them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay in Bloemfontein. Thanks - Johan Gouws

Very comfortable and warm considering the -4 degree temperatures during our stay in mid-winter. We stayed for 5 nights during the schools inter-provincial squash tournament and the place is quite suitable for rest and recuperation after a long day!

Dit was baie lekker. Dit is rustig en ontspannend en die mense is baie vriendelik. Ons sal definitief weer hier bly.

Ons verblyf was heerlik. Was baie gasvry ontvang en het die aand heerlik geslaap. Hul vriendelikheid is opreg waardeer. Ons sal beslis weer daar oorbly.

We found the home peaceful, clean and we were welcomed on arrival even though it was later in the evening..

We were graciously and caringly received and our room had been nicely warmed with winter sheets on the bed. Thank you.

We had a great holiday made especially nice by the warm and friendly people of South Africa, I would recommend this accommodation.

Our stay was very short but the establishment was clean, the beds very comfortable, the atmosphere quiet and peaceful. The owls in the nearby tree were very special.

If you arrive at the place it does not look very good (it is on a plot with an old house) but the guest house itself is cozy and neat. When we met the owners we were surprised to find out that we have met them before in Hoedspruit where we stay. All I can say is that they work full time in ministry and all Christians please support them!!!!!!! There rates is very good and I will stay there again if I have a chance.

It was comfortable and we felt at home. We only used it as a sleepover and with the special rates, it was very reasonably priced. We will use it again.

Our stay at the Grateful Christian Guest House was lovely. We had a large fully-equipped self-catering unit which was very neat, clean and homely. It is situated on a tranquil, rural small-holding, literally minutes away from the centre of town. Our hosts, John and Melody were fantastic and very accommodating. We've made a provisional booking for next September already!
