08 August 2008 Probably our favourite accommodation of the six we had. The farm house was lovely, the rooms very spacious and the food was super. Rianda and Hilgard were so friendly and welcoming as hosts that we felt more part of the family than clients ! 100% recommendation...stay there if visiting Addo or other game reserves in the area.

03 April 2008 A very nice surprise, nice hosts in a friendly farming community spirit and atmosphere.
We really enjoyed strolling on the farm and watching the dairy in action and the inner workings of the farm. A nice 1820 Settlers environment in a beautiful old farmstead!
We will gladly recommend this place.....Close to Addo Southern entrance for day trips to reserve.

The Farm House
Enjoy a peaceful breakaway at The Farm House, the main Homestead on the farm Wycombevale, and situated 12 km from the Nanaga turn-off towards Alexandria. The Farm House is centrally located for guest wanting to visit the malaria free Game Reserves of the Eastern Cape, such as The Addo Elephant Park, Schotia safari’s, Amakhala Game Reserve, and lots more. This is an ideal getaway for families, wanting to get away from it all; children can play around freely, help feed the chickens, play at the playground and touch the two pet Sheep.
The Farm House consists of two very spacious, lovely decorated rooms, each with en-suit bathrooms, own private entrance, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and bar fridge with condiments. They are also ideal for parents and children wanting their own room, or a party of four traveling together. Come and enjoy time in the countryside, and let your host and host, Hilgard and Rianda van Niekerk treats you to a memorable experience. Dining: Breakfast is served on the veranda at The Farm house, and suppers are available by prior arrangement.
Activities and Attractions at The Farm: Guests are welcome to walk around the farm, see the dairy, and look at the bird and animal life. Rianda & Hilgard can also take their guests for a night drive on the farm after supper to see the natural wildlife such as Bush buck, Kudu, Duiker, porcupine and jackal.
Game Reserves: The Farm House is centrally situated, close to the Addo National Park, Schotia safari’s(dinner and game drive) Lalibela Game Reserve, Shamwari Game Reserve, Amakhala Game Reserve as well as Dune Fields Reserve, with the largest coastal dune fields in the Southern hemisphere.
Sunshine Coast: The Golden Beaches of the Sunshine Coast, Kenton on Sea, Bushmans River, and Port Alfred are also not more than 25 min drive away.
