Great place
Adele Scheepers, South Africa - 12 August 2013
An outstanding place, peaceful, comfortable, family friendly and close to nature.
Christine Howse, South Africa - 15 July 2013
Rustic but yet all the amenities. Staff friendly and helpful no matter what our questions and needs were. My only grumble was the lukewarm water in the shower for the rest our short stay was everything we hoped it would be. Thank you especially to Gugu, Zanele and Zama. We'll be back for more that is a promise.
Thank you

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was great and of course the bush babies were a hit. Thank you very much.

Homemade food, clean accommodation, nice staff.
A very quiet and wild spot
Michel Malard, France - 01 February 2009
The wooden huts are nicely arranged in the middle of the wild forest (you can even find nice little snakes in the bushes!). The common area with the swimming pool, the bar and the pool is very pleasant. A nice place to sleep if you like the wildness.

More than we expected, Can and will recommend to friends who travel that area more than I do!
I loved the garden area

It was my first experience at a Bushcamp. I loved the garden area with the shady trees. I enjoyed the quite stillness of the nights at Isinkwe.

The most beautiful sunrise one can imagine, was showed to me by Jolande. Jolande is one of the wildlife guides who works at the Insinkwe Backpackers Bushcamp near the Hluhluwe reserve. She is one of the staff members of the bushcamp who takes care of you as a guest. The people working for the bushcamp organisation take care of you in a way that you realy feel like a guest, and that is a wonderful feeling. The calm and pleasent atmosphere makes you feel as if in paradise for a moment, and that was the feeling I needed for a few days. Dear Bushcampers thank you for those wonderful days.

Isinkwe Backpackers Bushcamp

As you arrive at Isinkwe Backpackers Bush camp, you are greeted by friendly, shady trees, forming a tranquil hide-away, as well as an excellent base from where to explore the many famous wildlife destinations in the area, including Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve and the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park.

We offer dinners and breakfasts, served from our canteen next to our swimming pool and BBQ area.
