Mary and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage it catered for all our needs. I would stay again if in Cape Town in the spring

Very nice place - everything we needed was there for a perfect family gathering.

Ideally situated and within easy reach of shops and the Kirstenbosch gardens. The accommodation is pleasant and we had no problems at all.

Sylvia cottage was absolutely everything we could have hoped for. It was exactly as the photographs showed it. When we arrived it was spotlessly clean and had everything there that we needed. Sylvia Cottage has two lovely bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms and a really nice living area/kitchen. There is also a secluded outdoor patio where we were able to enjoy breakfast while looking at the mountain. Chris and Dave were extremely welcoming and delightful hosts. We will definitely recommend the cottage to our friends and family and hope to return there again one day soon.

We stayed at Sylvia Cottage for several weeks while relocating to Cape Town, and truly felt at home. The cottage is spacious, clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Furthermore, the cottage is equipped with everything you need in a home, particularly the kitchen. Chris was amazingly helpful and full of helpful information. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Very well received by Chris and Dave and made to feel very welcome. The Cottage is in a quiet street and provided a tranquil holiday which we needed. It is also big enough to give each person the space needed to chill out, yet cosy and nicely furnished. Claremont is very centrally situated and you are never more than 20 to 30 mins away from Cape Town's major attractions. We would definately like to make use of the cottage again in the future.
