25 January 2011 Although Maputaland Lodge is not close to the beach, it was central. We were close to all the reserves and every day visited a different beach. It is also a short drive to the border post and we could even do a one trip into Mozambique. A 4x4 is not optional. It is a must if you really want to enjoy your holiday. We will definitely stay again at Maputaland Lodge.

04 January 2011 It was the most unwelcome I felt in a long time visiting a lodge. The service from the reception side was unfriendly, thinking they do u a favour. Will never stay there again. And the maintenance on the outside as well as the pool is terrible.
