We would recommend this lovely guesthouse to anyone. Every need has been provided for and the breakfast is superb. Tim and his staff round your stay off with their cheerful friendliness and attention to detail. A most enjoyable stop-over and real value for money.

It was like being overseas. No burglar bars and security cameras. Was fantastic to feel so free and secure. The staff are an absolute blessing. The owner just great. To be recommended for a laid back enjoyable time away from home.

We stayed at Cunninghams for 2 nights - had an excellent time. the guest house is lovely, modern, very clean and the rooms were huge! - well recommended. Breakfast was great with fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast, pastries, bacon, eggs etc! The owner Tim was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. He can recommend restaurants and will also book taxis for you. The guest house is a 5 minute drive away from Knysna's main town but there are restaurants nearer.

The place was beautiful, clean and the hospitality was excellent.I am thinking of going back again in December.

Great value for money. Room was clean, well decorated, very comfortable and private. We loved the breakfast every morning - especially the freshly baked croissants! The island is very quiet and secure with a nice little beach looking onto the heads. Thank you Tim and staff, we will definitely return again!

The place is beautiful & very peaceful! Breakfast was incredible and the service and cleanness even better. I'll recommend this place to everybody I know.

Thank you very much – Cuningham's Island Guest House is a very relaxing setting which is well managed by very friendly hosts and guest friendly staff. It is also nicely positioned as it still is relatively close to Knysna but not too central.

My Husband and I had a wonderful time at the Guest House, we got more than we expected. The rooms were neat and clean and also wide space of the room we Loved it. The Host and His staff were very friendly to us, we felt at home.

I found it peaceful, fantastic service and central to everything you need to get done. The rooms were great and it had a very welcoming feel. I will definitely be back!

My wife thought Cuningham's was magical, with the lit up garden at night. My son loved the pool!The rooms were clean and friendly and the service was excilent. Breakfast was very good.
