Lovely venue, very clean, good food, superb hosts, would recommend, and will be back.

We had a great night stay over at the Old Hatchery. The owners were very welcoming and the staff were friendly and efficient. It creates a very cosy family atmosphere where one is relaxed and at home. My wife and I would love to visit again for longer next time and we will highly recomend it to firnds and family. Oh by the way the meals were fantastic...compliments to the chef :-)

We had an amazing time at the Old Hatchery, the rooms are beautiful and the hosts are friendly and welcoming, service is excellent. Had an opportunity to do the Sani Pass tour which was breath taking. We will be visiting The Old Hatchery again in the near future.

Comfortable accommodation, would like to see: More shelving in bathrooms, confusing restaurant opening times. Staff and management very friendly and helpful.

Thanks for an amazing stay this weekend. We had an absolutely awesome time. The accommodation was very clean and spacious and well worth the money. Very clean and large accommodation - very up to date. The food was excellent, and we can honestly say it has been a long time since we have had food of that quality - thanks to the chef.

Very beautiful surroundings & very peaceful. We enjoyed the restaurant on the premise and the staff were very friendly. It is a great place to base yourself to explore the underberg!

We arrived at 9 PM after nine hours spent in the car. As we arrived we were warmly welcomed and seated to a nice warm meal and friendly faces. The service was brilliant and the scenery beautiful!

The surroundings were tranquil and beautiful. The peace and fresh air was what we needed to refresh us for a new week. The country experience was awesome and The Old Hatchery is a perfect getaway spot.

When last can you say that something was better than expected? This last weekend was, thanks to they guys at the Old Hatchery. We'll see you again.

Our few days stay at Ridgedale was fantastic. Even though we timed our stay during a very rainy, misty few days - it just added to the magic of the area, and having a fireplace in our room made it that much more special. The fishing was great and Ron and Dawn are an amazing couple and we just wish we had more time to have spent with them and also to experience the beauty of the area. Breeza the jack russel was always there with a welcome and loved to venture with us on fishing expeditions to the well stocked dam. We wouldn't hesitate to return and will most certainly be back when we are in the country again.

Thanks to all at Ridgedale - a great relaxing evening before our long SANI2C mountain bike ride. Great place and i hope to be able to stay there next year again.
