Chanell Le Roux - Thursday, 14 October 2021
The lodge was not a 3 star establishment as advertised. No daily servicing of the unit According to the rules the towels would be replaced every 3 days, this was never done the cutlery and crockery were dirty and had to be rewashed One cupboard had crumbs and dirt in it and a bottle of sauce left from previous guests very little crockery to work with, no large bowls one pot was missing (only the lid left) had to request a pot the air conditioner in the lounge area did not work the safe did not work no replacement of toilet paper had to supply our own tiny bit of dishwasher left and old tatty cloths and sponge on suite shower downstairs only ran hot water, no cold everything old and run down, hole in the melamine counter top in the kitchen

Stove and oven not adequate for cooking for 6 people and dirty. A lodge should have a cleaning lady on a daily basis. Upstairs toilet uncomfortable, no privacy. Lavatory in a very awkward place. No comfortable seating for 6 people in sitting room. Should have TV at least for elderly people. In general, very poor for 6 adults

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you very very much for giving us such a wonderful stay at Phumula lodge. I did not join the family this time due to illness but my family came back over the moon. It was the first time for my stepson to visit Africa and what an ideal place it was to take him too. My children was so fascinated with the zebra's especially my 7 year old adopted girl, because the zebra is one of her favourite animals. She wanted to know if she could ride it. The restaurant they also enjoyed tremendously and the little house was fabulous, Thanks you very much for helping me show a little part of our Africa to Italy. My children and husband had a fantastic time!!!!
