Great stay

We loved our stay at Pride of Places. The House is extremely tidy and lovely. One cannot help but fall in love with the views. The only recommendation i would make is to have a closed patio as we could not use the patio because the wind was too strong, even making a braai was a challenge. But overall our stay was great.

We were very impressed with the house. Extremely spacious and comfortable. It has all appliances, i.e. dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, we only missed a hairdryer. The cleaning lady was helpful and thorough. There was even a 24-hour hotline for the use of the huge tv and dvd player serviced by a very helpful man.

Pride Villas
These four spacious, open-plan villas are located on the Pezula Golf Course and are ideal for large families, house parties, sport or business get-togethers. Each unit features four twin en-suite bedrooms, a swimming pool, sun deck, braai and large outdoor entertaining area with magnificent views of the Knysna forest and fairways. In addition, the houses each feature a double garage, safes, a fully equipped kitchen, plasma TV with DStv and DVD combo and 24-hour security.

The first villa is located on the 10th green, whilst three villas dominate the 18th tee, all offering unsurpassed views of the golf course and the Knysna indigenous forest, the largest remaining forested area in South Africa. The house is serviced every day, and all linen, bathing and swimming towels are supplied. Half day or full day maids can also be arranged. Welcome packs of tea and coffee, toiletries and wood is supplied. All our guests qualify for discounts on green fees at Pezula and Simola golf courses.

As the sun begins to set and the last of the golfers have left, guests can enjoy game viewing from the luxury of the veranda or pool deck. Recent sightings have included honey badger, the Cape clawless otter, chacma baboons, porcupine, vervet monkeys and bushbuck.
