Hout Bay View is very well situated -close to the see with a wonderful view as offered. The rooms are comfortable with all required amenities. Our host, Andrew, was very welcoming and very helpful with our special requests. Highly recommended.

Andrew was very welcoming and helpful. Very good breakfasts. Lovely views. Standard rooms comfortable although bathroom quite small. Enjoyed our stay.

The venue was stunning with views, room cleanliness and privacy. We really enjoyed it alot, as well as the friendly staff who provided the breakfast and room cleaning. The only qualm I had was that the spa pool was not very clean at all. We were assured it would be available for use at a certain temperature which it was, but when we wanted to get in, it was quite murky. Other than that, I would definitely go back. Thanks a million to Andrew and the rest of the staff.

We spent only 1 night here and enjoyed it a lot - room was spacious, clean and cozy, breakast nice. And tasty and the owner recommended a very good restaurant dinner - the Lookout Deck. The views from the guesthouse are just incredible! Lovely place, definitely recommended.

The accommodation was superb; clean and well maintained. There is certainly something to be said for Andrew's hospitality; they make you feel right at home and are always willing to accommodate your every need. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Hout Bay View is a more than adequate place to escape to for a few days; we hit the rugby weekend and the place was all but full. Homely with very pleasant staff; easy walk to and from the beach. Now we have found Hout Bay View we can enjoy more 'mini holidays' away from home. Thank you.

WOW what a place - magnificent If you ever need a place to get away from it all and find yourself and have hosts that are impeccable this is that place a beautiful setting excellent amenities and everything was just perfect a great breakfast location added was the cherry on the cake WOW wat plaats prachtige uitstekend Als u ooit een vanaf het allen te krijgen en te vinden en te hebben plaats nodig hebt de gastheren die dit onberispelijk zijn is die plaats mooie het plaatsen uitstekende belevingswaarde en alles was enkel perfect een grote toegevoegde ontbijtplaats was de kers op de cake

This is a good establishment at a very good price. The staff were polite and attentive and the room very spacious, although the bathroom was small. The TV reception was poor, apparently due to aeriel reception. The view from the balcony, where the pool is situated is good, looking out across the bay. In the dining room was a pc for guests' use, this was free of charge. At breakfast we had cereal but the only hot offering was omelette. This was very tasty, though so it wasn't a great problem. The premises are quite isolated although only about a two minute drive from the wharf restaurants. We were told off by the owner for daring to walk there at night. She told us no one walks in SA. There was no one around and we didn't feel threatened, although I accept her point about how SA can be a dangerous place. But so can England.

We stayed three days in Cape Town. The lodging i Hout Bay was perfect for our needs.

Our B&B was easily switched to a luxurious apartment against no extra costs. it was a perfect place to rest after a long trip in Africa. Understanding and helpful staff.

The place is incredible; with a stunning view and comfortable facilities. The rooms are well decorated; everything looks clean and modern. Bryan was a great host. He was there waiting for us at the door when we arrived from the airport at night. He knows Hout Bay well and can advice you on many things. Thumbs up for him. The breakfast was delicious and a solid meal to start your day in Hout Bay. The two house girls were also very nice.

I had an awesome time. Hout Bay View is definitely the place to stay. It has a touch of warm self-caring from staff right through to management. I could have not chosen a better place. The view is to die for. Thank you Brain, for the fabulous time

We loved Hout Bay View. Bryan was an excellent host and looked after us very well. We arrived very early from the overnight flight and the room was ready in a flash, for which we were very grateful. We were so at home we stayed two extra nights. We stayed in suite 2, which was nicely proportioned for an extra bed and a cot. The breakfast was lovely, the views stunning and nothing was too much trouble. We think it was very good value for money too. Planning a return trip one day.

Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place or two nicer guys than Drew and Brian, they made us feel most welcome and we only wished we were staying longer. On a selfish note I hope they don't become too popular as we won't be able to book there again!! Helen & Jonny
