The best rest ever!
stephen huckle, South Africa - 27 March 2012
The cottage is the best find ever. The accommodation was clean and the owners so helpful. The bird life and the views made our stay so relaxing. Easy to find and to use as a base but because we felt so at home we stayed close by most of the time and just chilled. Will be using it again.
Best cottage we've been to
Leanne Vermeulen, South Africa - 24 January 2012
The cottage's location is perfect; completely secluded and surrounded by bush with a view of the ocean from the braai area. The drive to the sea is pleasant and not far. In the opposite direction, also not far away, is a suburb with all the facilities you need. The hosts were excellent and the facilities were more than excellent.

Our stay was very enjoyable even though the weather was not so good. It rained most of the time but we really enjoyed the tranquility of the place .The cottage is very well equipped and Andrew is a very pleasant and friendly host.We were equipped with a binoculars and we had some good viewing of the neighborhood small holdings, sea and bird life. Bird lovers will love the place as it is really full of bird life .It is certainly a place to visit if you want a break away from city life.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. A new recipe for those tomatoes. Mozzarella, basil, tomato and bread, oven roasted. It was delicious.

Our holiday did not start off too well as I encountered a spider when opening the curtains. After that 1st meeting everything went off great. The cottage was homely and well equipped. The beds comfortable and none of us had to have a cold bath or shower as hot water supply was more than sufficient. Our hosts gave us a large bag of tomatoes from their garden and we used them to make a delicious tomato bredie (stew). It was lovely to come back to the Cottage after a day out sightseeing. It was peaceful and inducive to a lovely nap with our grandson Chae aged almost 3 as grandparents and parents needed to recharge the old batteries. The cottage is also well located. We will definitely visit again God willing.
Excellent location

Nice quiet surrounding
Danie Slabbert, South Africa - 15 September 2009
We arrived at the cottage earlier than the booked time and was allowed to occupy the cottage. Nice quiet surrounding, sound of bird chirping waking you up, beautiful view. The stay was comfortable, with all the necessary essentials, the only thing I missed was my snack-witch. The price was great.
Wonderful time

Girls Weekend Away
Lucy Opperman, South Africa - 17 August 2009
We had an awesome weekend at the cottage - this was the most well equipped, comfortable self catering cottage we have ever stayed at. Our hosts were great, the heater was switched on for us before we arrived and the tranquil setting was just what we were looking for. We can't wait to go back again!!!
Lovely

Had a nice stay, nice accommodation, very comfortable. A bit too far out to PE itself, difficult to find the accommodation. Very friendly host. Nice scenery.
The stay was really nice.

Great Value at Kilcorry Cottage
Kim Muller, Canada - 16 July 2008
Yetobe Cottage was our base for two days while we were vacationing in the Bushy Park / Port Elizabeth area. It's well located, easy to find, and situated on a hill with a view of the ocean in the distance. Spacious - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, nice kitchen and lounge areas; there is a large braai area and fenced yard as well. Fully functional and clean. We loved the peaceful and private location. Very good value; Yetobe Cottage get's our recommendation. Thanks!

Yetobe Cottage is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing vacation. It was a home! We were so sorry we only had one night there.
Perfect destination
Johan Booysen, South Africa - 17 April 2008
It was one of the best vacations I have ever had. With our 4 children, all under 6, this cottage was the PERFECT destination. It was safe, we never locked the doors, even at night. The kids was safe and roamed around the farm. It was out of town and quiet, we could see millions of stars. It feels more like a home than a holiday apartment with the REAL things that makes a home, such a personal quips on the wall and washing machine and dishwasher, spices on the rack and salt and pepper, exactly the things that you normally forget... It was perfect for our family. I will go back again and again.
Enjoyable

Great holiday home
Magda Pieterse, South Africa - 05 December 2007
Yetobe Cottage is a great holiday home away from home. We had a peaceful and relaxing time. The 'bush'-feeling of the cottage was great. We loved the fact that it felt there was no-one close to us. Bird life is fantastic! We all loved Sardinia Bay beach. Nice surprises in the cottage were the dishwasher and washing machine. The fold-out bed in lounge is definitely not for an adult.
Our stay was wonderful
marianne brown, South Africa - 06 November 2007
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cottage and had no problem finding the shopping centres, beaches and game parks. Pat and Andrew were very helpful gracious hosts. The fully kitted cottage was a pleasure to stay in. Our 3 children explored the immediate environment safely. We will definitely be back.
Very good

I would highly recommend the Yetobe Cottage, we had a great stay, and will now become regular guests at their cottage.
Enjoyable
ethresia van staden, South Africa - 16 August 2007
We enjoyed our stay very much, in future I think if there are children involved in the booking, people should just be warned upfront that because it is remote and out of town, there is not much for children to do on the premises itself, improvement can be made to put up something there to keep children occupied, but other than that we did enjoy our stay very much.
Great Value
David Leith, South Africa - 13 May 2007
The cottage is extremely well equipped and great value for money. It is in very tranquil surroundings, yet within easy reach of the city centre. Pat and Andrew Marais are most friendly and very helpful. I shall certainly go there again the next time I am in PE.

Yetobe Cottage
This cottage is very private, fully enclosed and surrounded by indigenous East Cape bush and trees. It is set on a magnificent sea facing smallholding in the pristine Chelsea Conservancy on the New Sea view Road about 8 km outside Port Elizabeth at the end of the world renowned Garden Route.

There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, large living area and a well-equipped kitchen.

The birdlife is a delight for twitchers. The views from the cottage are exquisite, overlooking the Indian Ocean and milkwood trees and indigenous Eastern Cape bush surround it. The Port Elizabeth Airport is 20 minutes to this relaxing escape from the rat race.

Please no smoking in cottage. Big 5 tours are available within 1 hours drive away at the Shamwari Game Park and the Addo Elephant Park whilst the Kragga Kamma Game Park is just 10 minutes away. Our local Sea view Lion Breeding Park is also just 15 minutes away. Excellent shopping, dining and cinemas at nearby Walmer Park shopping centre 12 km and the Boardwalk area and casino at the seafront is not too far away yet you are private and safe in our Chelsea conservancy.
