Peaceful haven

We stayed at Etusis Lodge at the end of our journey to catch our breath after so much travelling. Perfect. Loved the farmhouse, the peaceful and beautiful surroundings.And whatever your abilities, do go for a horse ride. Professional and friendly.

Our stay at Etusis was only for one night, but it was terrific. Fabulous accommodation in an amazing setting, with extremely gracious hosts. What more could anyone want.

Etusis lodge is the ideal getaway for guests/groups with a multitude of interests (geology, history, trees/plants, wildlife, horse-riding, abseiling –only experienced climbers, photography) – there is something for everybody!We are totally off the beaten track situated 35Km south of Karibib on the C32 alongside the Otjipatera Mountain range and we offer the most exquisite scenery on our 12000 hectares farmland.

From Savannah plains to the famous Etusis waterhole and its waterfall, not to mention a range of activities to keep you and your family entertained for a number of days!Our accommodation ranges from thatched bungalows, luxury tents, the Farmhouse to a secluded campsite situated 20 Km’s away, catering for a variety of budgets and travel requirements. We aim to observe wild life in their natural habitat, to view plants, mineral & rock formations by 4x4 vehicles, on foot or horseback and our environment is perfect for hiking and mountaineering (for experienced climbers). Horse riding is available for all from the qualified rider to small children. We look forward to sharing our experiences with you.
