We had a wonderful stay, though only one night, but Nancy and Reg are great hosts. Will definately recommend to any of our friends.

It was lovely and we really did enjoy it.......the owners was very polite and they really did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We definitely will go back some time, because the place gives you the peace of mind that you need. The view is divine and it is near by town so we really enjoy our self……


Soete Huys Guest House
Soete Huys Guest House offers you beautifully styled rooms in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Wellington. The town is just 30 minutes from Cape Town. Our location makes Soete Huys the perfect choice for wedding guests, birthday parties, visitors to the various training institutions in Wellington as well as wine tours and guests on holiday.

Many guests choose to make Soete Huys their home for extended stays of a week or more. Our guests comment repeatedly about the peaceful farm-estate experience while still being close to the Wellington town center and the main attractions in and around Cape Peninsula. The entire property can be booked for group functions.

All of our rooms are individually styled, with attention to detail and comfort, having spectacular views over the surrounding mountains and gardens. Our guests can enjoy a wonderful private garden with spectacular views of the mountains. We also offer a small conference venue in our Rustic Barn which can seat roughly 50 people; catering can be arranged.

Our rooms are very spacious and each room has its own entrance. The rooms feature private showers with quality towels, TVs, refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, cutlery and crockery, glasses and openers, kettles and cups, and lounges with reading lamps.

We have five double rooms, a cottage and one flat. Four of the double rooms and the cottage are furnished with queen-size beds, and one double room has either twin beds or a king-size bed. Two rooms have a second bedroom with a bunk beds. The cottage and flat have separate kitchens with seating areas and private bedrooms; views are limited. The cottage sleeps five guests on a sleeper couch, a double bed and single beds.
