05 April 2009 Lovely stay. Great guest house in a perfect location; peaceful but central. More expensive rooms are worth the extra money as they are really good quality.
Breakfast and hospitality first class. Book well in advance if you want to eat at the best restaurants in town (La petite ferme etc).

The swimming pool and garden are amazing.
Staff is very friendly.

Location could not be better for strolling around Franschhoek, literally 5 minutes walk to centre of village.

23 January 2007 My family and I spent two great days at Maison Chablis Guest House. Exellent location, minutes away from vineyards on one side and Franshhoeks main road restaurants on the other.
Rooms are minutely decorated in a very personal style. I can warmly recommend it.

14 March 2006 We spent two nights at Maison Chablis which is centred in a quiet street just off the main village street in Franschhoek. The house has a lovely atmosphere, a pretty garden and pool and excellent service. It was the perfect base for our visit to the winelands. The breakfasts were excellent and the value for money exceptional.
I would highly recommend the Maison Chablis to anyone visiting the area.
