Maison Chablis was a great choice for a weekend in Franschhoek. Cozy, neat and in close walking distance to the best restaurants and shops.

We only spent one night over but felt totally at home from the minute we arrived. Management was very welcoming and naturally friendly. The rooms, clean and cosy, pool was perfect for the hot day and breakfast delicious, hit the spot.

My partner and I, from the UK stayed at Maison Chablis for 3 nights in early January. We were impressed with the whole operation and especially liked the breakfasts. Overall good value and good service.

Arrived early in the day but were shown to our lovely upgraded room straight away. Breakfasts were good as were the facilities. Very central for all the town has to offer and seems to be a very safe area. Enjoyed our stay although the weather wasnt very kind to us!

Excellent position just off the main street, next door to the boutique-priced option.Large comfortable rooms, good details, own little garden to sit in, comfortable loungers by the pool. Very helpful owner and staff, nothing was too much trouble. Good breakfast with fresh fruit and delicious bread plus lots of hot choices.

Lovely stay. Great guest house in a perfect location; peaceful but central. More expensive rooms are worth the extra money as they are really good quality. Breakfast and hospitality first class. Book well in advance if you want to eat at the best restaurants in town (La petite ferme etc).

One of our best accommodations in South Africa ! Only 100m away from main street in Franschoek. Park your car and walk around the town! The swimming pool and garden are amazing. Staff is very friendly. Price/quality is an extremely good deal!

We found Maison Chablis to be pleasant and comfortable. The central location was perfect, allowing us to walk, rather than drive, around Franschhoek to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable rate and was substantial and well presented.

Ideally situated in the centre of Franschhoek. Beautifully presented room with an excellent breakfast served in a light airy room over looking the mountains. I will certainly recommend this lovely guest house. Just one observation, room 1 was not very private being so close to the car park & gate. However, this will not prevent us from staying again! An enjoyable stay.

We stayed for one night at Maison Chablis and found it very satisfactory. The location is very convenient to Franschhoek town and surrounds. The accommodation was excellent with large rooms, comfortable furnishings and good security. The owners were friendly and helpful. Overall would recommend highly.

Difficult to imagine a better location, facilities and service in Franschhoek

Found this guest house to be excellent. Bedrooms superb, gardens & Pool area 1st class. Overall 10 out of 10. Location could not be better for strolling around Franschhoek, literally 5 minutes walk to centre of village.

My family and I spent two great days at Maison Chablis Guest House. Exellent location, minutes away from vineyards on one side and Franshhoeks main road restaurants on the other. Rooms are minutely decorated in a very personal style. I can warmly recommend it.

Great location - two blocks from the main street.

Definitely reserve a \superior\" room so have own outdoor deck.

The \"standard\" rooms are adjacent to the kitchen and eating area."

Couldnt fault it a real gem

We spent two nights at Maison Chablis which is centred in a quiet street just off the main village street in Franschhoek. The house has a lovely atmosphere, a pretty garden and pool and excellent service. It was the perfect base for our visit to the winelands. The breakfasts were excellent and the value for money exceptional. I would highly recommend the Maison Chablis to anyone visiting the area.
