We enjoyed our short stay at Gable Manor. The place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Don was helpful in securing dinner reservations for us the day we arrived.
Thank you for your service. I will certainly recommend you to friends.

We stayed in Lavender Cottage a seperate s/c privately owned property but managed by Gable Manor. It was extremely well set up and equipped with washing machine, dryer and just about everything else you could possibly need. It's clean and modern with nice white linen on the beds. It has a large beautiful garden full of roses and lavender with a choice of two outside verandas for eating. It's a 5 minute walk into the centre of Franshooek and we really enjoyed our stay there. Can't comment on Gable Manor itself as the two properties are very seperate.

Join us for great hospitality in a stylish and modern guest house with luxurious fittings, furnishings, and spacious air-conditioned rooms with beds that sleep so well. Enjoy the air of relaxation and understated elegance in this classic Cape Dutch architecturally-styled house set in the village of Franschhoek.
The two suites and four bedrooms feature air-conditioning, top class king-size or twin beds, crisp white percale linen, soft gowns, individual satellite TV, tea and coffee trays, carpets, safes, UK wall plugs, and hairdryers. The décor follows the theme of understated elegance, with each room having its own distinctive character, while the Balinese furniture perfectly matches the gentle colours in each room. The modern en-suite bathrooms with stylish terracotta tiles and unique backlit mirrors have power showers, heated towel rails, bath sheets and bath towels.
Breakfast comprises a selection of cereals, fresh fruit juices, yoghurt, fresh fruit salads, dried fruits, hams, salamis and a wide cheese selection together with home-made breads and produce all prepared with homegrown herbs, and a selection of fine teas and filter coffee.
Relax and chat over coffee after breakfast, meet in the lounge before visits, unwind and read a book, or sip a glass of wine before going to dinner. Cool in the summer and well heated in the winter, this is a very pleasant room all year round. Soak up the sun by the solar heated pool and relax in the stunning pool lounge with its library and selection of games.
A separate self-catering cottage offers two bedrooms with queen-size bed, a mezzanine open room with two single beds, an open-plan dining and kitchen area, and a spacious lounge. It has north and east covered patios and is situated in a beautiful garden.
To add to your comfort we are a non-smoking establishment. Minimum stay requirement of two nights all year round applies.
