The owner warmly welcomed us when we arrived. They were friendly and helpful. The place was incredibly homely. It was clean and tidy. The room was very comfortable. Smartly and modernly decorated. It had everything we needed. It was peaceful. The breakfast provided was lovely. Its a wonderful place for a relaxing get away and I would definitely go back again for a longer stay.

My stay at Aloe House Guest Lodge was very nice. I had no complaints. I was satisfied with the good service they had and the beautiful rooms.

The room and everything is very clean. John's welcome was very warm and he helped us a lot. We will definitely go back.

Aloe House is located on the main road into Hermanus, on walking distance from the beachfront (1km) which is famous for whale watching. I really felt welcome and at home here because of the friendliness of the host and the beautiful design of the place. Everything is done to make you feel relaxed. All living areas feel spacious as there is a lot of natural light. Rooms are located around two small swimming pools, one being on two levels with water flowing from one pool into the other. The rooms are very nicely decorated, have their own small living room and bathroom with bath and shower. There is a parking with automatic gate in front of the guest house, which closes at night, so you feel very safe as well.

Our stay at Aloe Guest Lodge was extremely pleasurable. The host was very friendly and the rooms were immaculately clean. Every request was met and the food was delicious too. An overall thumbs up! We will recommend Aloe Guest Lodge anytime. Thank you!

Aloe Guest House is a beautiful, private sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the annual Hermanus Whale Festival. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there as the amenities, the room and breakfast are just what one needs to feel relaxed and well looked after.

The hosts are welcoming and nothing is too much for them. The rooms are amazing; you really have your privacy. The breakfasts are to die for. We will definitely return.

We found Aloe House spotlessly clean and very comfortable with lovely linen and towels. The pool was unusual but very enjoyable to use.

Stayed in the honeymoon suite which was great, really private comfortable and excellent value for money. Everybody was very helpful and the place very clean We saw whales although didn't expect them as late in the breeding season (Dec) in the sea which topped off an excellent 2 day stay

What a place to Relax! One night was not enough to fully tune down and sit by the pool(or in it) but the quality of the rooms was up with the best we have seen.We wanted for nothing and Hermanus is about relaxing and having some time to yourself. As usual with any accomodation in SA breakfast is a delight and highlight of the day before setting forth on travels into the unknown (or indeed the known..) all together a great stay and wonderful welcome Many thanks Stuart Edwards, Ken Spence, Trevor Brown, Brian Blackley

The time spent at Aloe was everything I could have asked for and more. I was very impressed and would definitely return. It was as good as any 5 star hotel, the room was spacious, the bathroom exquisite and breakfast was a treat! THANK YOU SO MUCH for the hospitality!

Outstanding!!!! It was a perfect experience from start to finish. The service and visual impact is a must go see. Rosemary and her staff was delightful and made our stay memorable. The guesthouse is new, furnished with good taste and the atmoshere is homely and honoust. Thanks for an experience that will linger with us for time to come.

We would highly reccomend a stay at the Aloe Guest House. The rooms are beatifully presented in a modern style and very spacious with a separate sitting area. The bathrooms are particularly nice with the unusual luxury of a full size bath, plus separate shower and lots of fluffy towels. The garden is very attractive and a nice quiet space to relax away from the busy towncentre. Breakfasts are great too. Rosemary is a lovely host, being very helpful and friendly, but also happy to let you get on and do your own thing. We had a great time, felt very relaxed and at home, and thought that the Aloe offers fantastic value for money.
