Three star only

Shibula was a wonderful retreat when the Klomp family owned it- we visited twice. Now it is very disappointing. The highlights were the waiters- friendly always, the ranger, Janie, very exceptional with kbnowledge of plants, trees, animals environment etc..... No maintenance, little managerable guidance and the food??? The spa was as far as we are concerned non Operational.
Overall stunning a weekend!

Found hosts Bazil & Petra excellent, professional and relaxed. Dean, our guide on the Landie found amazing wildlife, lion catching hyena, leopard with cubs and at night!
The lodge was lovely,

the room and service were of a high standard. The food was delicious and varied. We were however disappointed with the lack of game seen.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at the lodge. It is the most private and romantic lodge we have ever experienced.

I´ve had a nice and warm stay at Shibula´s, the ranger Ulrich was very nice and told us everything about the animals, plants and birds and other things. Very good guy.

We very much enjoyed our stay. A very nice and comfortable place with competent and friendly staff. We felt welcome and at home. The value for money is good and we would certainly return with pleasure or recommend it to others.
