Very well situated spot for your Cape Town area visits. Located in quite neighbourhood Table view. We stayed in the cabin very private but small with limited bathroom space. No secure parking. Very friendly welcomed by the owner and well looked after. Wil stay there again.
Our host was wonderful and made us feel at home and very welcome!

Would certainly recommend a stay at Cape Oasis. A home away from home environment. Wolf is a most gracious and accommodating host!

The stay was everything I planned for, including a communal area, my own deck with a view and peaceful surrounds. Awesome place to relax and regain focus if you are in a stressful work environment.

Quiet and friendly stay
Ms van der merwe - Friday, 21 November 2014
We had a lovely 1 night stay in the log cabin at Cape oasis. Wolfgang was very helpful and friendly, allowing us to check in a bit earlier since our travelling times were not standard. He also gave us some well needed tourist advice. Luckily it was windy so the cabin was a good temperature. It is also close to all the major attractions with a stunning view!
brilliant

Thank you for a pleasant stay. I will recommend to others and visit again.
Dissappointing
stuart Forsyth, South Africa - Tuesday, 02 April 2013
The guest house has a lot of potential but lacks some of the finer touches. There is no mention of shared 'common areas' on the website which makes as though the rooms etc are far more private. The rate was good but we certainly got what we paid for. Made uncomfortable by the constant presence of the owner who was looking over our shoulder at all times ensuring cleanliness of the common areas etc. Unfortunately we won't be going back.

Excellent service of Oasis Guesthouse
Ms Seremo - Tuesday, 05 April 2011
The sweet melodies of the birds outside. The breeze of the fresh air outside the lake. The rooms are very neat and up to the standard. The service of Mr Wolfgang and warm welcoming is really appreciated. He is approachable and gave advice about touring around Cape Town. Keep up the good work. We really enjoyed our stay at Oasis Guesthouse with my family.
Truly a home away from home
Julie & Steven - Sunday, 11 July 2010
Cape Oasis is really the place to be at for your stay in Cape Town. Wolfgang was really friendly and dont ever hesitate to ask him for any help should you ever need anything. We were heading out the door and he offered to do our laundry for us. When we came home, he had already hung our clothes up to dry! He even hired a car for us and had it delivered to us at no extra cost.

Location was great, a 20min drive from the city (roughly R200 if you would like to cab it there) and roughly a 10min walk to 2 shopping malls (Bayside Mall has retail shops where as the other one is quite smaller). Also a short drive to Sunset Beach, where you must go to watch the sun set!

We stayed during world cup and no other places compared to Cape Oasis.

He has two beautiful dogs, so if you stay here, please be sure to lock the gate!
Cape Oasis Self-Catering Establishment with so much potential
Ms Abrahams - Wednesday, 02 June 2010
The Cape Oasis Guesthouse is a self-catering establishment with so much more potential. It has bungalows and two self-catering apartments. The apartments are spacious, a bigger shower would have been useful.

Spectacular views of the majestic Table Mountain and the Bloubergstrand from all rooms.

It is comfortable, but a little more effort for maybe a welcome soap and better towels would have been appreciated.

Commanding views of Table Mountain. Everything one needs to make it a pleasant stay was readily available. Charming hosts.

It Was Good to be There.

Cape Oasis is a wonderful place to be. The owner Wolfgang Haslinger is also a good person and he was very helpful as it was the first time visiting Cape Town. The rooms are also good.
Spacious and comfortable

My 80 year old mother-in-law stayed over for 2 nights as she was attending a family wedding & wanted to stay on a bit to spend time with the whole family. She was very happy with her ground floor double room which was en-suite & she said it was very spacious & comfortable. Thank you.

My room was freshly painted & clean. Enjoyed my stay - will go back again. Peter
Friendly, Well-Run Establishment.
Ms Baard - Monday, 24 August 2009
Cape Oasis is a very well presented guesthouse, set in a beautiful location with gorgeous views of Table Mountain. We booked a cabin, with use of the main house kitchen and lounge areas, and found these to be well kitted out, with all the necessary items. I would happily recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Cape Town.
A pleasant place
Juergen - Thursday, 16 April 2009
I spent a few days in Cape Town staying at Cape Oasis Guesthouse which I found to be a very pleasant place with large and comfortable clean rooms and a marvellous garden with swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The view particularly towards Cape Town and Table Mountain is gorgeous. Very nice beaches are nearby as well as shopping malls providing the entire infrastructure necessary. I can recommend staying at Cape Oasis Guesthouse.
Under the sprinkler
Mr van der Voort - Saturday, 07 March 2009
Our stay, my girlfriend my 7 month old daughter and me, at Cape oasis was very nice. The accommodation was good and the garden magnificent. But remember to hang your washings alongside the house because if you dont... the sprinklers wont miss a spot. Thanks to the excellent gardening of Wolfgang.
The braai was a perfect way to get to know the other guests and our landlords. My suggestion would be more Braai. But due to the wind this probably wont be a success every time.
The communal spaces are a big asset, especially if you need to cook and your baby is already in bed.
Thanks for a very nice time and the personal attention. You made us feel very welcome.
Good guest house.
Stanislav Bobkov, Russia - Thursday, 17 January 2008
The rooms provide an elegant view of Table Mountain. Quiet lodgers. It’s a bit far from the center of Cape Town, but that doesn’t really matter, since travelling SA without a car does not make any sense in any case. There are many good restaurants and cafés in the guest house’s surroundings. The supermarket is only a few minutes away by car. Owner Wolfgang is very pleasant.
Cape Oasis - Review
Graham Dean - Friday, 30 November 2007
I think the best way to describe The Cape Oasis Guest House is cheap and very cheerful.

Wolfgang the owner is a very nice chap, with a great laid back attitude. He made me feel very welcome from the start.

The double room I had was very basic, but I got used to it, especially when I reflected on what Id actually paid. The best feature was the shower, powerful and hot! Sharing the kitchen and its facilities with other guests was reminiscent of student life again, but everyone gets on with it and after initial reservations, I became comfortable with it.

When you are making your breakfast first thing in the morning, and you are looking through the kitchen window out over a nature reserve, to a fantastic view of Table Mountain and Cape Town, you cant get better that that!

Thanks Wolfgang.
Sleep in peace
Wilma Nolan - Monday, 12 November 2007
Thanks for a wonderful stay at Cape Oasis. We needed a place to sleep, bath and make some coffee/quick eats, and this was the ideal place to be. We could sleep in peace with no noise. I would recommend Cape Oasis.
Overnight at the Cape Oasis Guesthouse
Mr Griffith - Saturday, 29 September 2007
I have both compliments and complaints. I found Wolfgang, the owner, to be particularly accommodating in letting me have the use of a lockup garage for my rented vehicle. Unfortunately no soap was provided for the bathroom resulting in me having a soapless shower. Although an electric kettle was provided, I was unable to make myself a cup of tea or coffee as no teabags, coffee granules, milk and sugar was provided. In mitigation, maybe these things were overlooked as the owners had a newborn baby which, those of us who been through the experience will know can be quite demanding. A lighter blanket would have allowed me to have a more comfortable night as the eiderdown was too hot. I found the facilities to be generally clean and acceptable.
Fantastic Views
Neville Govender - Sunday, 23 September 2007
This is a great place to stay if you love nature and water sports. The host, Wolfgang is a great guy and easygoing. Lovely views of the nature reserve and table mountain. Location to all attractions is ok as well.
What a JOL!
Richard Chase, South Africa - Thursday, 21 September 2006
I stayed there for a little over a week. I found the gorgeous owner to be most helpful in many aspects of my holiday. His (and his cute dog's) friendliness will most certainly ensure that I stay at Cape Oasis again next year :) Thanks Wolfgang!
Service Excellent
Vuyiswa Mabongo - Tuesday, 04 April 2006
We enjoyed our stay there; the area is cool, quiet to have your own peace of mind. We received warm welcome from Wolfgang, the guest manager. The service was excellent. The rates are quite reasonable.
