Lovely

We had a lovely time except for the fact that it was quite inconvenient not being able to get a key for the pedestrian gate to the beach. Agent promised to get back to me on Saturday morning regarding a key.....well its Tuesday today and still no call even though we are now back in Gauteng.

Cabanas 2A
Cabanas 2A is a comfortable ground-floor apartment, situated in Uvongo. The apartment consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms of which one is en-suite, a fully equipped kitchen with a tumble-dryer, a comfortable lounge area with a TV and security gates on all sliding doors.

There is a communal braai area which looks onto the ocean and secure undercover parking available. The beach is only a short stroll from the apartment for some easy swimming and sunbathing.

Part of the Hibiscus Coast, Uvongo is a welcoming town with secluded, unspoiled beaches, superb fishing spots, a nature reserve, beautiful scenery and so much more. Uvongo is named after the Ivungu River and is well known for its waterfall that plummets 23 m down into the lagoon, creating one of the deepest lagoons in the country.

Uvongo is also known for its large rock escarpments thick with beautiful foliage which shelters the beach. Spend the day relaxing on flawless beaches or snorkelling in the warm waters that flow across the shoreline. Hawkers can be found on the beach selling their fruit, basketry and craft. For a break from the beach life, there are numerous sporting facilities in the area as well as a spectacular 9-hole golf course nearby.
