It was fantastic
Anonymous, South Africa - Tuesday, 09 December 2008
4 days in November 2008 It was fantastic even if the weather was not the greatest (worst rains since 1981) the place more than made up for it. It was for a special birthday 50th and was a very romantic day. The staff made our stay very enjoyable and the day itself very special with a champagne breakfast and a lovely birthday cake in the evening which was thoughtful. We are hoping to visit again and would recommend it to everyone.

Hi there. Our stay was great, you have a magnificant facility. The only negative thing we experienced was the smoked filled room from the fire place, which we reported. Everything else was 5 star indeed. Thank you very much indeed.

We had a wonderful stay. The service is magnificent, the accommodation defies words. The meals were the best we have had in this country. Thank you
Monkey business!

We arrived at Tsala hoping for a most unusual and atmospheric place to rest for a couple of days. We were not disappointed at all. The surroundings are sumptuous. We were unlucky with the weather and did not get to use the plunge pool, but we made the most of the beautiful fire in the lounge area - a very romantic place to while away the evening. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent, and well-priced for the quality. We had a wander over to Hunter's Lodge whilse we were there - that was very nice, but Tsala beats it hands down. And thats not just because of the monkeys. A whole family came to us one evening - running across the roof, starring in at us through the windows and providing the very best up close and personal monkey experience. Awesome. Pricey, but spectacular and worth every penny. Treat yourself - go to Tsala!

We absolutely loved this hotel - stayed three nights in total instead of one as originally planned. The building is lovely, the rooms are a delight, the food is simply fantastic, ingredients always market fresh and imaginatively put together, the views are to die for and every element of the service is totally customer-focused.A special word of praise should go to the Manageress who never seemed to sleep and yet manages to keep her entire team running like clockwork. We also loved the in-room snacks (dried fruits and nuts) and my husband was delighted to discover that his car was cleaned by hand every day. I loved the wildlife and the tranquility. We just didn't want to leave. Superb all round. One small adddition would make this sublime - a gym facility.
