Fantastic dinners!!

We enjoyed our stay!! The people make you feel at home as if your at your own home. Friendly , helpful , lovely rooms , fantastic dinners!! We will recommend this to any of our friends!! We will stay there again with our next visit, maybe next year!
A stay to remember

The rooms were very good, unique, spacious and with a colourful view of the garden with the Chobe river as a backdrop. No TV? Fantastic! If there is anything our entourage thought could be improved was the dinner. With all the fantastic raw materials that Botswana and the surrounding areas definately have, we felt that not enough justice was done to the vegetables and fruits etc. The swimming pool could have been a little cleaner! Hospitality was very good and friendly, casual and laid-back according to our needs.


The Garden Lodge
Garden Lodge has eight bedrooms consisting of four Standard Rooms, three Family Rooms and one Double Room, each with its own bathroom and private veranda overlooking the Chobe River.

The combination of unlimited water and constant sunshine allows hibiscus, frangipani, bougainvillea, banana and paw paw to grow in profusion. Guests love the garden and the prolific birds attracted to the flowers and fruits.

Our lounge and dining room, as well as the rooms, are furnished in teak and wicker. All décor comes from Botswana or one of the surrounding countries. Guests have the choice of sitting inside under the thatched roof outside by the swimming pool or making use of our boma in the garden. Our upstairs lounge overlooks the large garden, and is decorated with old African masks and beautiful baskets from various African countries.

Guests have the choice of a continental or English breakfast. Lunches are buffet style with a choice of hot dishes, salads, cold meat and cheeses. Dinner is comprises a set menu however, our kitchen will happily cater for guest’s individual requirements. We bake our own bread daily which is served with all meals. Generally guests sit at one table, which allows them to meet each other and often the conversation continues well after the meal has ended.
