Kameeldrift East is situated in the north-east of Pretoria near the Roodeplaat Dam. The area is now also called Dinokeng (which means "Place of Rivers"). This destination is divided into 3 tourism hubs namely:
1. The Big Five Nature Reserve,
2. the Dam with all the water sports, to be established waterworld, and
3. Cullinan, the town with the diamond mine and museums.
There are also 3 golf courses in the near vicinity, an abundance of bird life and 2 Lion Parks nearby.
