The Inn At Castle Hill

The Inn at Castle Hill is a 4 Star graded characterful Edwardian villa overlooking the quaint fishing village of Kalk Bay. The beautiful ceilings and lattice verandah gives this building the charm and warmth that would make you feel at home. Features include a cosy sun room for reading and relaxing that leads to the lounge with a TV, while the terrace is perfect for soaking up the summer rays.

The individually decorated bedrooms open onto a latticed verandah affording spectacular views of False Bay, with the Hottentots Holland Mountains as the backdrop. Morning tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in every room, as well as bottled water and wine.

The historic Fisherman's Village of Kalk Bay offers a variety of antique, boutique and craft shops that line the cobbled lanes of Main Road. With Silvermine Mountain as the backdrop and the harbour with the fishing boats lining the horizon, Kalk Bay is one of the most spectacular spots on the Southern Peninsula. Excellent restaurants and bars provide a wonderful choice in guests' culinary experience, with Harbour House and the Brass Bell being among some of the favourites.

From June until mid-October, whales visit the bay and can be viewed from the guests house verandah, while South Africa’s only shore-based colony of African penguins can be visited at Boulders Beach in the naval port of Simons Town, just 20 minutes away.
