Facilities

Kromkloof Guest House is located just 4 km outside of Bethlehem and it offers a great accommodation option when visiting the area or while travelling through the Free State. Situated on a plot, the guest house is just far enough out of town to enjoy the beautiful farm scenery, including numerous farm animals. All rates include a hearty breakfast.

On offer are three Double Rooms fitted with en-suite bathrooms and DStv access. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a touch of class and luxury. Two units have bath and shower facilities, while the remaining bathroom is fitted with a shower only. In room facilities include bar fridges and micro golf for your entertainment. The establishment also has a lovely indoor braai facility and hospitality bar available to guests during their stay.

Besides enjoying the lovely scenery and generally relaxing during your stay, guests can entertain themselves by touring the numerous museums in Bethlehem. For the golf enthusiasts, there is an 18-hole course available for your enjoyment. There are also many restaurants to choose from if you are keen on dining out for the day.

We enjoyed our stay at Kromkloof Guest House, especially the lovely prepared breakfast. The rooms are clean and neat, we will stop there again.

We were looking for an alternative to staying in Clarence as we wanted to visit the Golden Gate Highlands Park. Bethlehem is a bit away from the park but it was worth it to stay at the Kromkloof. The house is lovely, the owners interesting and friendly and the animals will make your heart jump with joy. A lovely room and a delicious breakfast make this a stop that we have noted in our journals for the future. We are still giggling about the parrot that imitates the dog. Lovely stay. Thank you.

A very friendly and comfortable accommodation, and lovely breakfast. my only suggestion would be to place the parrot away from the guest area.
