About Waterbuck Lodge
Positioned perfectly in the Southern part of the magnificent 14 000 Thornybush Nature Reserve, this Lodge is particularly ideal for exclusive use bookings.
The Lodge consists of four fully air-conditioned luxury Suites, all with generous bathrooms and lovely views across the African terrain. Each Suite has been ideally positioned to maximize privacy.
The Lodge boasts a comfortable lounge area with an open-plan dining room all under thatch. There is also a wonderful breakfast deck overlooking the estuary as well as an appointed bar with easy access to all hospitality areas.
The Lodge is situated in the high water table area of the reserve and is sighted on a dammed estuary of the main water supply to the site. The lush undergrowth around the Lodge is evidence of a continual flow of water all year round. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of all amenities including a very private, family-sized swimming pool.
The area around the Lodge is home to all the animals found within the reserve especially Thornybush’s largest Elephant Herd.
Safari: Enjoy exciting dawn and dusk safaris in open Land Rovers and the comfortable viewpoint of the abundant wildlife who frequent the feature waterhole adjacent to the lodge.
