Cherry Grove Luxury Apartments

We thoroughly enjoyed the night that we stayed at Cherry Grove. The apartments are spacious and comfortable and exceptionally clean. The only drawback is having to climb the stairs to get to the first floor. There is also no interleading corridor between the various sections, making it a bit awkward when staying on opposite sides.

From booking to checking in was a pleasurable experience. The reception was most welcome and exceptionally friendly. We literally had rose pedals in the bath tub, fresh towels on the bed and wood for the fireplace waiting on us.The room was as per picture and the vibe with the piazza had an Italy feel to it. Definately recommendable! Clean, safe and compfortable.

In general the rooms were neat etc. Some maintenance is required however.

We enjoyed our stay at Cherry Grove Luxury Apartments. The Duck and Trout restaurant and pub is in the same building and it's such a cozy place for young and old with a great atmosphere. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Legendz Deli. The room was nice and big with a very cosy atmosphere. We really enjoyed the fireplace - however, the wood they provided was a bit cheap and produced more smoke than heat so we bought our own wood which was better. The carpet was stained and the bedding seemed a bit old, but everything was very clean and neat. The kitchen is well equiped and the bathroom is awesome. It's a lovely place to stay at if you want to break away from your daily routine. It's private and no one knows whether you are coming or going. At the same time, it's walking distance to the centre of the town and the restaurants and shops under the apartments are very nice. On our last day someone washed our car without asking/ telling us, so we thought that it was such a lovely suprize. However, when we drove out, we found an angry man running after us shouting that we should pay him for washing our car. This was a bit annoying as we never asked anyone to wash our car. Overall, a lovely and neat place, very cozy, well equiped, and private. The Legendz restaurant can really be recommended for breakfasts and lunches.

We stayed at Cherry Grove Apartments on our way to the Kruger area. The apartments are spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It's real value for money. We would definitely stay again. Dullstroom is a pretty town and definitely worth a visit. Ask for Room 1 and 2 if you want to be a little more secluded. There's a lovely coffee shop in the square and The Duck and Trout is next door.
