About The Tarragon
The Tarragon is finished in beautiful Cape sandstone and nestled high up in the Hout Bay Valley on the southern slopes of Table Mountain. We offer five serviced cottages in an area of outstanding natural beauty, boasting magnificent 360-degree panoramic valley and mountain views.
Our unique location offers peace and tranquility, supported by personal outdoor terraces, a large swimming pool, barbecue facilities and exquisite koi ponds set in over 8000 m2 of an exclusive and safe area of Hout Bay known as Tarragona.
Guests have a feeling of space and oneness with the beautiful surroundings. One can even walk on Table Mountain within three minutes of leaving the property. Whether you want to soak up the ambience with a glass of wine after a lazy lunch, relax by the pool or chill out on the double African hammock, The Tarragon is ideal.
It is the perfect location from which to explore Cape Town and its peninsula. The magnificent Chapman’s Peak Drive and the three beautiful, unspoilt beaches of Hout Bay, Sandy Bay and Llandudno are all only five minutes away. The city centre and V & A Waterfront are a scenic 20 minutes' drive away.
