About House of Pearls
House of Pearls is the ideal place from which to base yourself when in the Western Cape. It is central to all the Cape's tourist attractions, and itself is the perfect town for a seaside holiday. Located on the fringe of the Stellenbosch Wine Route which starts in Somerset West, we are a mere 10 minute drive from Gordons Bay.
This charming self-catering cottage, with a large private and enclosed garden, boasts amazing mountain views. Three-bedrooms with ample space mean a spacious relaxing environment in which to soak up the sun and enjoy some of the most spectacular mountain views, or take a walk down to the world-famous beach.
Gordons Bay is the ideal location for visitors to the Cape due to its central location and situation near so many of South Africa's finest tourist destinations. Gordons Bay provides easy access to the winelands and fruit growing areas of Stellenbosch, Elgin, Grabouw, and Franschoek as well as Hermanus which is famous for whale watching and shark cage diving.
House of Pearls is not serviced daily and there is no domestic worker as this is a self-catering house. Guests are expected to do their own washing up of dishes and cleaning. The laundry, bed linen and towels will be done after you leave. Should your stays be longer than seven days, clean linen and towels will be provided. No smoking in the house....

We would appreciate it if guest could avoid eating and drinking in the bedrooms. No braaing in the driveway. Noise levels to be within limits to avoid disturbance to the neighbours. Please telephone hostess to arrange arrival times, keys at least two days before arriving.
Only six adults allowed on premises.
Guests are liable for any breakages or damage/stains to property fixed and movable. Guests are liable for loss of keys.
Breakage/Damage, deposit required of R500.00 which will be refunded if all in order.
Liability is restricted to the cost of restoration and replacement of the damaged/broken items.
