62. Swellendam Country Lodge is a perfect place to unwind. The interior is stylish and warm: a combination of classic
charm with natural lines and colours, and modern fixtures. Swellendam Country
Lodge welcomes you with quality accommodation and excellent services. All 6
rooms offer a bathroom en suite and a private entrance with veranda from where
to enjoy the beautiful gardens. On warm summer
days, the large sparkling swimming pool is a refreshment not to be missed.
A generous breakfast is served outside on the
veranda, or indoors near the fireplace on that few cold winter mornings.
For lunch or dinner you can stroll to the terrace
of one of the restaurants next door. Other excellent restaurants and shops are
nearby. The town offers many activities and a variety of day trips to choose
from. Usually, visitors wish to stay for a longer period of time to experience
this beautiful part of the Western Cape.

Was the best B&B we have stayed in, good directions, and a warm reception when we got there. Good information on eateries and their menues. Wanderful breakfast realy set us up for the day.

Betty gave us a warm welcome on arrival and we really loved the layout of the lodge with rooms reminding us of the Asian style where each has own private balcony amongst plenty of greenery and foliage. The most incredible fruit platter of homegrown fruits you can imagine and peaceful surroundings. Great Italian deli over road for supper. Thanks for a convenient and enjoyable stay twice round!
