Bergsig

Bergsig is a charming fully equipped cottage situated in a quiet location in the heart of Nieu Bethesda, very close to tourist attractions. The cottage boasts mountain views and is surrounded by a lovely garden.

Bergsig comprises a bedroom with a double bed and electric blanket, a bathroom with a shower, hand basin and toilet, and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, two-plate stove and fridge. The garden in front of the cottage is ideal to relax during the day or to watch the clear night sky filled with stars, and in summer guests are welcome to jump into the dam to cool off. Barbecue facilities are available, as well as safe parking.

The attractive little village of Nieu Bethesda is a real gem in the Karoo and has lots to offer for a peaceful and inspiring stay for a few days or a longer holiday. Stroll in the village, visit the famous Owl House and Fossil Museum, the Bethesda Arts Centre, or enjoy one of the many restaurants and coffee shops. Visiting the Camdeboo National Park and the Valley of Desolation nearby Graaff-Reinet are alternative day trips to consider.
