Facilities

Gables Inn is an overnight accommodation situated in Colesberg, on the N1, halfway between Cape Town and Johannesburg. We have 43 units ranging from two, three, four and five bedrooms and five bedroom apartments.

Rooms are equipped with a bathroom, TV, refrigerator, kettle and it has safe parking. Our luxury rooms also have air-conditioning, DStv, microwave and kettle for coffee.

Restaurants, filling stations, supermarket and golf course within 2 km of premises. The Gariep Dam is about 50 kilometer away and we are situated about 500 meter from the N1 at the southern entrance to Colesberg, Our reception is open 24/7 and we are looking forward to accommodating you.

We found that the first room we stayed in was great but on our return room we were given was dirty and smelt of a sewerage, overfan/extractor in bathroom was also not working.

Having read a number of the reviews were a little sceptical, but was pleasantly surprised with a clean comfortable room and enjoyed a good nights rest.

After a very long day on the road, all I wanted was a nice hot shower and a clean place to sleep. I regret to say, this was not the case. The shower didn't work. The bar fridge were broken (unable to put our ice packs in for the next morning). The towels were in a pathetic state(holes in it). We have been going to Gables Inn for many years, and I must say the place has gone down a lot.
