About Royal Livingstone Hotel

The Royal Livingstone Hotel is the ideal getaway for a holiday packed with luxury and rejuvenation.

The hotel has undergone a multi-million dollar refurbishment which includes an Executive Boardroom that seats 12, as well as upgrading the amenities in the 173 spacious en-suite guest rooms; of which 96 have twin beds and 71 have king-size beds.

The rooms are two-storey clusters; comprising of approximately 10 en-suite, air-conditioned rooms with private balconies or terraces.

Three suites offer a separate lounge and bedroom with the Presidential Suite having an optional separate bedroom available. Two hotel rooms are equipped with disabled facilities.

The balconies and patios on the end rooms of each of the residences have also been extended.

Guests can enjoy a book from the well-stocked library on one of the two magnificent sun decks overlooking the river. Guest can enjoy fine dining in the newly refurbished restaurant which now incorporates a magnificent fireplace. The lounge is filled with original artwork depicting scenes of David Livingstone's great African adventures.

Hotel facilities includes a reception area, 24-hour room service, a butler service, laundry/valet facilities, shoe polishing, baby-sitting, cots are available, a swimming pool, a beauty salon, conferencing, a restaurant, a lounge and a bar.

The hotel offers a butler service from 07h00 - 23h00, satellite TV, a radio on the TV, coffee and tea making facilities, a mini-bar, a mini-safe, a telephone with message and wake-up call facilities and there are videos as well as DVD machines within the suites.

The Zambezi is a paradise for wildlife lovers. Indulge in a luxurious outdoor massage on the banks of the Zambezi River, visit the Royal Spa for world class treatments, exercise in the well-equipped gym while watching wildlife graze nearby, view Africa’s Big 5 on a cruise up the river or up close from a private safari vehicle. You can also take a ride on The Royal Livingstone Express; a unique African rail experience that combines the luxury of the hotel with Victorian train travel.

Children’s policy: Children under the age of 2 years (the Hotel Management may require proof of age) on the date of arrival sharing a Luxury Twin/King room with one or two adults (limited to two children per room) are accommodated in a cot (on request) or share the existing bedding (bed) free of charge and pay for all meals and extras A La Carte with breakfast. A single adult with 1 or 2 children under 2 years will be charged the single room rate. For children sharing with parents a mandatory Musi-o-Tunya National Park Entrance fee of USD24.00 per child per stay is payable on arrival. This Musi-o-Tunya National Park entrance fee allows guests multiple entry into the Eastern Cataract and the Musi-o-Tunya Park. Children 2-8 years (Max one child) are accommodated with their parents in a corner luxury King room inclusive of breakfast, (Roll away bed for child). Children 9 - 18 years are accommodated in their own room, limited to two children per room and charged 50% of the rate quoted in the Rate Schedule inclusive of breakfast & park fee.
Corner Luxury Twin & King rooms the 50% discount does not apply. Luxury Suite & Presidential Suite do not accommodate Children.
