  • The river is crystal clear and offers an alternative to the swimming pools, should you feel too mellow to walk down to the recreation and main centre.

Utopia Nature Resort is set in a nature resort, please note that Utopia is neither a game lodge nor a pleasure or holiday resort.

The units are Sectional Title. We offer basic self-catering accommodation in A-framed chalets, sleeping up to six guests each. In keeping with a bush experience there is no electricity, but there is a fridge, stove and geyser which run of gas which is very efficient.

Very tranquil and picturesque, we had a lovely family holiday. We all swam in the pristine river and had lots of fun, this establishments comes highly recommended.

We stayed a couple of nights at Jenny's A-frame hut in the Utopia reserve. The hut was clean, takes six people (a double bed and two singles on the top floor, and two singles in a bedroom downstairs), and was well-kitted out. The veranda overlooks bush with a path down to the river, where we were lucky enough to spot a monitor lizard. The setting is truly lovely and it's a fantastic getaway from city life. The only slight surprise was the proximity of other A-frames to ours and the sheer number of them in the reserve.

The place has very old carpets, couches and crokery etc. The fridge was not cold until the next day. The water is a red/brown colour. For the rest it was fine. Nice setting in the bush.

Children's Facilities: There is a kiddies playground with sea-saw, jungle gym, slide, horse sea saw, swings and withches hat. There is also a paddling pool for the younger children.
