24 Crystal Cove is a fully furnished self-catering apartment located across the road from your own secluded peace of beach in La Mercy, KwaZulu-Natal. This immaculate apartment is situated on the second level and boasts spectacular 180-degree sea views. For guests' convenience, there are restaurants within walking distance of the apartment, with Umdloti just a seven-minute drive away offering a wide variety of restaurants and amenities.
The flat is fully equipped to ensure a comfortable home away from home stay for the busy executive as well as the family, and offers two double bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. The apartment features an open-plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, while the balcony with beautiful sea views is accessed from the lounge area. The unit boasts air-conditioning and the lounge area offers a flat screen TV, surround sound system, DVD player, and DStv. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge, microwave and washing machine. The apartment is also serviced daily on weekdays.
A covered parking bay is provided for guests and the electric-fenced complex offers 24-hour security and is accessed controlled by security guards. In addition, guests are welcome to make use of the communal swimming pool and barbecue facilities in the complex.
The neighbouring Umdloti Beach is a lovely swimming beach that also offers rock and surf fishing, should you wish to bring your fishing rods. The La Mercy Beach has a kiddie's play area, barbecue facilities and a lapa, and kite surfing is a very popular activity in this area. The Umhlali and Mount Edgecombe golf courses are both just a five minute drive away, with Durban and uShaka Marine World just a 25-minute drive away.
Bath and beach towels are not provided. The apartment is not serviced on weekends and public holidays.
A refundable breakage deposit of R600.00 must be paid 48hrs prior to arrival with the owner of the establishment.

We recently holiday-ed at 24 Crystal Cove. Proximity and access to clean beach was very welcome. The accomodation itself was neat but not very clean. The complex has no braai facilities communal or private. The complex is not close to any amenities other than the beach and everything including a shopping centre is at least a 15 min drive.
Crystal Cove is in a wonderful location, however there were a few issues that were reported and little was done. There was no toilet paper on arrival; we were given half a roll on the following evening (to late as we bought our own). On arrival all the cleaning tools were left laying about which we removed, but the biggest problem was that the fridge/freezer did not work and therefore we could not keep our food and drinks cold. The accommodation could be so much better if the owners spend a small amount of money tidying the place up. Something as small as a lampshade for the one bedroom lamp... see more
