About Oxford Lodge

Oxford Lodge is a luxurious establishment, situated in the centre of the town of Vryheid in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Oxford Lodge is privately owned with about sixteen staff members. Most of our staff have worked at the lodge in excess of ten years and are very proud of the lodge, so the service is first class.

Oxford Lodge is located close to many shops and supermarkets, the post office and the police station. It has a very tranquil atmosphere with lovely gardens that all add to the atmosphere at the lodge.

Oxford Lodge was established in 1990 and was renovated and upgraded in 2011 to a luxurious establishment which offers quality rooms, good food and conference and function facilities all at competitive prices.

Oxford Lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation in 36 luxury rooms, all with air-conditioning and TVs with DStv. The rooms contain either double beds or twin three-quarter beds and tea and coffee-making facilities. Internet and email access is available for guests.

A same-day laundry service can be provided. We offer bus-friendly secure parking. Lunch and dinner can be provided by arrangement. Oxford Lodge also has a cosy pub for guests to enjoy.

Near to Vryheid there are three dams ideal for fishing and boating. There is game reserve close to town. There are two hot springs approximately 30 km from Vryheid to relax for the day. The Klipfontein Bird Sanctuary lies just 2 km southwest of the town.

My kamer no 9 het nie warm water gehad nie , my handdoek het bruin merke op gehad. My skoonma se toilet in kamer 11 het nie gewerk nie

Relaxing, comfortable with everything we needed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to anyone.
