Herolds Bay

Baie mooi pragtige strand met baie skulpies en mooi uitsig. Skoon en netjies.

Amazing place with excellent accommodation. Breathtaking views from everywhere. We only got to stay there for 2 days last time, but definitely booking for a whole week next time.

We spent time in Herolds Bay during February, it was so peaceful there in this small beautiful bay. From our balcony we watched the sun rise and spread gold all around the bay, dolphins playing in the bay, we had lovely walks and listened to the loud waves breaking sounds and enjoyed the company of neighbourly monkeys. Herolds Bays is well situated, we took trips to George for shopping and visited beaches nearby for sight seeing. Herolds Bay has a beautiful beach and is a lovely area for swimming or surfing.

I stayed a the hotel for 2 nights with my 6 year-old son. Unfortunately we went in October (out of season) so the area was pretty empty. I decided to stay there as it is only 20 min from the airport and it was perfect for the day excursion to Oudtshoorn. The room (or rather flat) we stayed in was beatifully furnished and had everything we needed. We went to Oubaai for all our meals, less than 1km away on a very scenic route. I would love to visit the area again with my son during the busy holiday season when more of the facilities around the town are open.

A very beautiful place. I would love to stay a while longer next time.

Harolds Bay was a nice destination. It is close to George and other places. It is a nice place to switch off from the busy city life.

This is really an extremely beautiful place with breathtaking views.

Perfect location for a family holiday with the beautiful warm Indian Ocean just a few steps away. Just a note, book early!
