Description
Zululand Safari Lodge, situated in the heart of Zululand, is only a 2 hour northbound drive from Durban, and is perfect for families and conference groups. This traditional African self-catering reserve with its dining boma and 24 thatched rondavels looks up at the sweep of Ubizane Mountain. The 1500 hectare Reserve, which is adjacent to the world renowned Hluhluwe and Umfolozi Game Reserve, boasts over 350 species of bird life as well as a variety of game including rhino, giraffe, wildebeest and many antelope species.
Zululand Safari Lodge is the bigger of the two camps at Ubizane and offers comfortable accommodation in African Style rondavels. The chalets all have en-suite bedrooms with ceiling fans. Rooms are serviced daily by housekeeping.
CHILDREN'S POLICY Children are more than welcome at the Safari Lodge Safari Lodge although children 16 years and under are not allowed on Game Walks and children younger than 6 are not allowed on the open landrovers when visiting the HluHluwe/Imfolozi game reserve.
